CAREER COACH

The long road to success is not without its trials; fortunately, in the Xpress Path program you won’t be going it alone. During this program, you will be partnered with a Xpress Path Career Coach to guide you along the way. By providing individual coaching sessions to help you succeed in applying the lessons to your specific environment, your Xpress Path Career Coach will help give you the tools needed to lead a high performing team.

MENTOR

Translating classroom knowledge into practice isn’t without its own set of challenges, and quite often boils down to learning by trial and error. However, with a mentor even professionals can benefit from the experiences and expertise of someone who has made mistakes and can help you avoid the same errors. Similarly, those new to the industry will discover that having a mentor shortens the learning curve for acquiring the skills and knowledge most critical for a successful career. Your mentor will help create opportunities for learning, push you to excel, and will advise you on how to become an integral part of the leadership succession plan.

CORPORATE NETWORKING

Through Corporate Networking events, Xpress Path provides those in the program with a unique level of vision and visibility at U.S. Xpress. These events serve as a face-to-face networking opportunity with other leaders within the organization and encourages Xpress Path Employees to connect with colleagues in order to help build long lasting, positive relationships within our organization.

The 4DX program comprises precise rules for translating strategy into action at all levels of an organization. When applied, the 4 Disciplines produce extraordinary results by tapping the desire to win that exists in every individual. The disciplines of focus, leverage, engagement and accountability will further your development and ability to produce and maintain a high performing team.
Continuous Improvement: “If you aren’t moving forward, you’re moving backward.” In the Xpress Path program, you’ll learn to take those words to heart by embracing our culture of continuous improvement. Part of your training will involve participating in continuous improvement projects guided by Lean Six Sigma concepts; which will help you develop the skills needed to decrease cost, improve efficiency, develop effective employees, and ultimately increase revenue.
